Die Aktion richtet sich eigentlich nur an Mitarbeiter einer bestimmten Firma, dennoch ist die Registrierung für jeden möglich. Durch diese Aktion ist es möglich, bereits nach nur einem 1 Roundtrip einen Status Delta SkyMiles zu erhalten, zusätzlich gibt es pro Statuslevel zusätzliche Bonusmeilen geschenkt.

 

Normalerweise benötigt man bei Delta SkyMiles bereits für den Silber-Status 25.000 erflogene Statusmeilen oder 30 Flüge, für Gold 50.000 Statusmeilen oder 60 Flüge und für den Platinum-Status sogar 75.000 Statusmeilen oder 100 Flugsegmente! Bereits durch den Silver Medaillion Status bei Delta SkyMiles erhält man z.B. kostenlos bessere Sitzplätze in der Economy Class auf Flügen mit Delta, Air France und KLM. Medallion^® Status Offer: If you meet the criteria to participate, you will receive: complimentary Silver Medallion status for six months upon completing 1 qualifying roundtrip flight, complimentary Gold Medallion status for twelve months upon completing 3 qualifying roundtrip flights, complimentary Platinum Medallion status for twelve months upon completing 6 qualifying roundtrip flights. Unter´m Strich

Wer noch keinen SkyTeam-Status hat oder die Meilen nicht in seinem gematchten Alitalia MilleMiglia Status versieden lassen möchte, hat hier  eine gute Möglichkeit einen sinnvollen SkyTeam-Vielfliegerstatus zu bekommen. Nicht nur wenn ohnehin eine Reise mit Delta vor der Tür steht, bietet es sich an, die Meilen bei Delta SkyMiles gutschreiben zu lassen, denn ein Vorteil gegenüber allen anderen Programmen ist z.B. auch für Wenigflieger, dass die Meilen niemals verfallen. So lässt sich z.B. ein Prämienflug innerhalb der USA buchen und wie bei anderen amerikanischen Vielfliegerprogrammen fallen nur sehr geringe Gebühren an. Die bisher ungeklärte Frage ist allerdings der Passus mit den Buchungen über das Firmenreisebüro, ich habe einen Kumpel von mir mal für die Aktion registriert und werde berichten, ob die Flüge tatsächlich gutgeschrieben und der Status umgestellt wird.
